Another dull topic but revered by those who take their own workspace by heart. People especially those who face a computer for most days to work or to game or just to surf the net have their own corner in the house or apartment where they can do all of that in peace. That corner, without knowing becomes a space that is close to us, a place where everything we need to be productive is present or where our beloved PCs reside. That corner is also a corner where you make it as comfortable as you can, as clean as you can, and as organized as you can. You won’t make a big deal of until you find someone or a community like r/ Workspaces and r/realworkspaces that that thing you do becomes unveiled to you and let’s you know that a thing for that exists. People like you who like-minded, well organized and neat.

Dear readers let me share you the evolution of my workspace in this blog. I may not be as sassy and as minimalist but that I leave as a personal preference but nonetheless I was really suprised about the attention that my workspace got on Reddit amidst all the other more awesome and more cooler setups.

The image above was my first station where I sit all day playing games in my quaint and humble workstation.

Then I managed to have a new room and I must also have a new table. My table is built by me and with the help of my uncle using repurposed phenolic plywoods.

This was the result of the new place where I will spend my hours on everyday after school and during weekends.

I put some wood themed wallpaper to the table to give it a better look and boy it was minimalist. But I knew that this is not the endgame, that there are still things that I wanted to add to make it a better place.

Skip a few months , I added a side table as I was running out of horizontal space for the things that I need.

I then added a shelf for the same reason.

With the space growing, my old lamp can no longer illuminate efficiently my whole workplace so I added a LED strip with a motion sensor switch so I can turn it on or off with the Force.

This is the current state of my workplace and the photo above is what I posted on Reddit, from minimal to functional. I got everything within arms reach so I can focus more and do more. As of this moment, I have added a bulletin board and removed the extra laptop to make it my writing place. If you’ve read my previous PC build blog, you may ask me where is my PC at? It’s in the other room. It’s a very powerful piece of equipment that can interfere with my studies and work. It can game and I don’t want to game during productive hours so I moved it to the another room.

So, how’s your workspace? Cheerio!
